Effects of Complex Exercise on Functional Fitness with Parkinson`s Disease - Three Cases Reports -

Abstract
Parkinson¡¯s disease(PD) is a progressive neurologic disorder, which includes an inability to activate appropriate muscle activity. Very little research has analyzed exercise prescription for PD patients in recents. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of complex exercise (folk dance, ball and band exercises) on functional fitness for 3 male parients with PD. The exercise program lasted for 12 weeks with a frequency of 3 times per week within 9 to 13 in RPE. The result was analyzed by case study in pilot measurement. By the result of this study, the improvement in muscular strength, muscular endurance, flexibility, agility, balance, mobility, coordination, and aerobic ability suggests that PD patients may benifit by exercise.
